There is so much for everyone to do in this part of the SW of England. You are in easy reach of beautiful scenery, of stunning beaches, hundreds of years of history and industrial archaeology, or many kinds of adventure activities. But you might also just want to relax in the surroundings and sit on the patio gazing across the valley and the lake within it.

 

The pictures on this slide show are of the Tarka Trail, Morwhellam Quay, Exmoor, our own yacht, Oceanaire on which we can take you out for a day or more by prior arrangement, Clovelly, Dartmoor, Lydford Gorge and the North Devon coast. All of these apart from our yacht are within a 45 minute drive from Butstone Farm, but there is much, much more to see than this small selection and we suspect you would be coming back for years to come to sample a reasonable proportion of what is on offer within easy reach from here.
